Synopsis
Robby and Billy, reporter and photographer respectively, are sent on assignment to a South American island to cover a revolution-cum-nationalisation of the oil industry. While there, Robby falls in love with exotic cabaret singer of the Cuba Cabana, Arabella, played by Zarah Leander, after speaking to her at a bullfight and later watching her perform. He meets her briefly, then has to leave to cover the nationalisation with Billy. They are caught by the authorities, but Robby escapes, seeking help from Arabella, who gives it. Unfortunately, Arabella is well known to the Governor as his former lover and he suspects that she might have hidden Billy as he saw them speaking at the Corrida.
A game of hide and seek follows, with Arabella pitted against the Governor, who pretends that Robby killed a man at the oilfields and offers a reward to catch the "murderer". Does true love win in the end? Watch the film - there's a very unusual twist at the end, just when you'd think everything will turn out well.

I controlled again. And confirm..The film ends 1 minute before the indicated lenght, interrupting abruptely Zarah Leander's last song. Pity!!! Thanks for the subs.
I'm afraid I have to take issue with what you are saying, whether you downloaded it twice or not. Over 100 people have downloaded this film and not one of them has said that there was a problem at the end. In fact, I have had several private messages sent to me thanking me for the film and several people have stated that the quality is very high. Nonetheless, your message worried me, so I downloaded the links myself and joined them. The film did NOT "end abruptly" before the end. It carried right on till the reprise of "Wenn's auch Suende war" and the word "Ende" superimposed on stage curtains.
PLease try again or perhaps try downloading the last link once more. There's nothing wrong with the download.
I invite other people to leave a message and to say whether they had a problem or not as I should like to know if anyone else has had a similar error. But, I repeat, the only comments I have had so far are those from people who were really pleased with the download.
