Whilst working as an interpreter in Mongolia, Laura adopts a small boy named Liu-San. She notices a strange mark on the boy’s chest and becomes concerned when she and Liu-San begin to share a series of terrifying nightmares. When she has to leave the country, Laura decides to leave Liu-San with Sybille Weber, the neurologist who raised the boy since his parents died. Events take a dramatic turn when Liu-San mysteriously disappears and Laura, fearing for his safety, embarks on a perillous adventure to find him...
