Plot: Sheik Ahmed (Valentino) desperately desires fiesty British socialite Diana (Ayres), so he abducts her and carries her off to his luxurious desert tent. The free-spirited Diana recoils from his passionate embraces and yearns to be released. Only after being kidnapped by desert bandits does Diana realize how much she has grown to love Ahmed, who comes to her rescue in the nick of time. However, he is seriously injured as a result and Diana nurses him back to health. In the meatime she learns from St. Hubert that Ahmed is actually European, with an English father and a Moorish mother. Ahmed recovers and Diana happily chooses to remain with him.
This is the film that helped establish Valentino as the top male movie star and sex symbol of his day.
